Stepping Into a New Season of Purpose - Part 2
What does it mean to step into a new season of purpose? How do we interpret new seasons, especially when we did not choose them for ourselves? Drawing from Jeremiah 29, we encounter the Israelites in exile—displaced, confused, and longing for home. Yet God's instruction to them is remarkably counterintuitive: build houses, plant gardens, marry, multiply, and seek the prosperity of the very place that holds you captive. This isn't passive resignation but active engagement with divine purpose. We're challenged to recognize that God's ways consistently defy our natural logic and instincts. Where we see exile, God sees positioning. We're reminded that every season has particular conditions and anointing, and that our trials aren't random but filtered through God's providential hand.
